to begin Project BLUEBIRD, with the objective of mind
control research, summarized as discovering methods of "conditioning
personnel to prevent unauthorized extraction of information",
"control of an individual by the application of special interrogation
techniques", "memory enhancement" and "preventing hostile
control of Agency personnel
